Leptogaster moluccana (Doleschall, 1857)
The species is distinguished from other Leptogaster species in the Oriental Region by the predominantly apruinose scutum (only the antero-lateral areas as well as lateral and posterior margins are silver pruinose), the metathoracic femora and tibiae are distinctly yellow proximally, the mystax is only comprised of 4 setae, and the wing is hyaline and without microtrichia.
The species is very widespread in the Oriental Region and occurs in Cambodia, China (Fujian), Indonesia (Java and Sumatra islands), Japan (Ishigaki and Tokuno-shima islands), Malaysia (Sabah, Sarawak), Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines (Luzon and Mindanao islands), Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. It also occurs on Batjan Island (Indonesia) in the Australian/Oceanian Region.
