SUMMARY
Head: black; face yellow pruinose, sometimes silver pruinose on lower facial margin, facial gibbosity indistinct, mystax white, many macrosetae; proboscis and maxillary palpi brownish-black with white setae; ocellar tubercle silver pruinose dorsally; occiput silver pruinose, setae white
Antennae: scape dark brown, white setae ventrally; pedicel dark brown, brown setae ventrally and dorsally, white pruinose; postpedicel dark brown, white pruinose; apical 'seta-like' sensory element dark brown
Thorax: black; postpronotal peg small, distinct, silver pruinose; anterior margin of scutum yellow pruinose, lateral and posterior margins silver pruinose, 3 narrow median yellow pruinose stripes on scutum, 2 lateral stripes sometimes reaching posterior margin, short yellow or white setae on pruinose part; macrosetae: 1 white notopeural seta, 1 black supra-alar seta; scutellum white pruinose, discal scutellar setae and scutellar setae short, white
Legs: yellow to brown; femora yellow proximally, brown distad, metathoracic femora slightly clubbed, pale yellow stripe not reaching club dorsally, narrow longitudinal dark brown stripe laterally, setae white; tibiae brown, pale yellow stripe not reaching tip on metathoracic tibiae anteriorly; first tarsomere yellow proximally, brown distad, remaining tarsomere brown, setae black; empodium minute
Wings: hyaline, but microtrichiae scattered on remigium and distal margin; pterostigma distinct, brown; discal cell terminating in 2 veins; halteres light brown
Abdomen: black; tergites brown pruinose dorsally, grey pruinose laterally, T1 with long brown setae laterally, T2 in proximal half with white setae laterally, remaining tergites with yellow and brown setae, sternites grey pruinose
Male terminalia: surstylus pointed distally, lobe ventrally; hypandrium bent upwards, divided into 2 large lobes; dorsal aedeagal sheath short, blunt; lateral apodeme simple.
