SUMMARY
Head: black; face silver pruinose, facial gibbosity indistinct, mystax white, many macrosetae; ocellar tubercle apruinose; occiput silver pruinose, setae white
Antennae: scape brown, setae brown; pedicel brown, setae brown; postpedicel light brown, white pruinose dorsally in proximal half; apical 'seta-like' sensory element dark brown
Thorax: orange-red to black; scutum predominantly orange-red, 3 longitudinal stripes, median stripe divided anteriorly and not reaching posterior margin, lateral stripes originating medially, reaching posterior margin, black, stripes often fused in posterior half, lateral and posterior margins white pruinose, short white setae scattered on anterior, lateral, and posterior margins, macrosetae: white or black, 1 notopeural seta, 1 supra-alar seta, sometimes 1 post-alar seta; scutellar silver pruinose, discal scutellar setae and scutellar setae long, white
Legs: yellow to brown; prothoracic and mesothoracic femora light brown, metathoracic femora yellow proximally, clubbed, club brown, setae white; tibiae brown, yellow stripe not reaching tip anteriorly; empodium distinct, very short
Wings: hyaline, brown stained, especially in anterior half; pterostigma distinct, brown; discal cell terminating in 2 veins; halteres light brown
Abdomen: brown to black; tergites grey pruinose, T2 apruinose, T1 with black setae, T2 with few white setae laterally, sternites grey pruinose, S1-3 apruinose
Male terminalia: surstylus not particularly pointed distally, lobe ventrally, small lobe dorsally; hypandrium ventral margin straight; dorsal aedeagal sheath tubular, medium length; lateral apodeme bifurcated.
