SUMMARY
Head: black; face silver pruinose, facial gibbosity distinct, mystax white, few macrosetae; ocellar tubercle apruinose; occiput silver pruinose, brown setae dorsally and white setae ventrally
Antennae: scape and pedicel dark brown with brown setae, white pruinose; postpedicel dark brown, white pruinose; apical 'seta-like' sensory element brown
Thorax: black; scutum predominantly apruinose, posterior margin and dorsad of wing base silver pruinose, white setae scattered on surface; macrosetae: black, 1 notopeural seta, 1 supra-alar seta; scutellar silver pruinose, discal scutellar setae and scutellar setae long, brown
Legs: brown and yellow, prothoracic and mesothoracic femora brown, metathoracic femora yellow proximally, brown distad, slightly clubbed; tibiae brown, metathoracic tibiae with yellow stripe not reaching tip anteriorly; first tarsomere as long as 3 following tarsomere combined; empodium about a third of length of claws
Wings: densely covered with microtrichiae, dark brown; pterostigma indistinct, brown; discal cell terminating in 3 veins; halteres light brown
Abdomen: black; tergites brown pruinose in proximal 3/4, grey pruinose in distal quarter, T2-3 apruinose in proximal 2/3, T1 with black setae, T2 with long brown setae laterally, remaining tergites with short brown setae (on brown pruinose area) and white setae (on grey pruinose area)
Male terminalia: surstylus broad, only slightly pointed, ventral margin straight; hypandrium ventral margin straight; gonostyli long; dorsal aedeagal sheath tubular, medium length; lateral apodeme simple.
